I'm a self-taught computer geek and self-proclaimed nerd with a penchant for embarrassing herself. Favorite things include coffee, board games, tricky code, and minimalistic desktops. My love affair with computers began in my parent's dining room with a Vic 20, a 1200 baud modem, and a BBS called "The Bates Motel".

I'm currently working as a technical support representative for a major blog company, helping customers with everything from scripting to site design to search engine optimization (SEO).

I rock at installing, troubleshooting, and customizing CMSs - everything from Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress, Movable Type, Expression Engine - new and older versions alike, as well as legacy programs like GreyMatter.

I'm interested in social media, how it's growing, and how companies can truly harness their power to improve their business.
